In 1925 Caroline decided to set up her first workshop in the historical center of Naples.
She sewed shirts for a select number of customers, using the Neapolitan high fashion rules which regarding elegance laid down the law all over the world. Those rules and skills were passed down to her son Alberto and his wife, Stefania, who in the 1960s opened their first large workshop in San Giorgio a Cremano, a town bordering Naples. Alberto was gifted with a strong business sense and supported by his wife’s experience ( Stefania also grew up in this trade) turned the workshop into an important company for hand-made shirts.
The mix of culture and highly sophisticated machinery has made this family company one of the most advanced and avant-garde in this sector. Today, “ Carolina’s world” has widened greatly and the Finamore creations have become an important international brand name distributed in the most prestigious and exclusive multi-brand boutiques and department stores all over the world. “ Total look “ collections, made up of completely “ destrutturate” jackets , shirts, ties and accessories are also available.
